Jaehun is a hairstylist from Korea! He first became interested in hair because he thought hairstylists looked cool! Once he started, he realized there was so much to learn, it was challenging, but definitely worth it!

During his career in Korea, he spent many years learning a wide range or Korean, Japanese and other Asian hair techniques and styles. After gaining a few years of experience , he felt ready for a new chapter so he decided to move to Canada.

Jae started working as a hairstylist in Canada in 2020, starting in Vancouver and Calgary gave him the opportunity to experience different hair textures, styles and cultures. In October 2025 Jae moved to Vernon and became a part of the team at Wild Dahlia Salon! He really loves all that Vernon and the Okanagan has to offer including Okanagan Lake, Kalmalka Lake and Silver Star Mountain; as well as the amazing local food.

At Wild Dahlia Jae has expanded his skills even further, especially with naturally curly and wavy hair. He enjoys combining this with his Asian hair background and everything else he has learned in Canada. He enjoys cutting coloring and perming; he loves helping client find a style that works for their hair and lifestyle. If your hair is very straight and you’d like movement, soft waves or curls, a perm can be a great option. Even adding a little curl through the ends can make your hair easier to style and give it a completely different look.
