Isabella, or Izzy, joined Wild Dahlia Salon in May of 2025 as an apprentice, working her way towards becoming a stylist. For the first 9 months she worked as an apprentice, assisting her team members while gaining experience in her career. Izzy graduated from PVSS Hair Program in January of 2026 and joined the team as a junior stylist looking to grow her clientele and continue learning.

Growing up in Salmon arm BC, Izzy noticed different treatment due to her ethnicity and hair type. Having naturally curly hair in an environment that lacked diversity, Izzy felt in some ways an outsider due to her appearance. Wild Dahlia was one of the few places that curly hair was not only normalized but celebrated. Coming to this salon since a young teen was critical to Izzy for feeling included. This feeling of inclusion is one which Izzy wants to extend to her clients. Taking pride in your curls is fundamental when Izzy works with you.

One of the greatest motivators for Izzy becoming a stylist is following in the footsteps of her grandma. Izzy would visit her grandma at her salon up in Prince George and would wash and style Izzy’s hair, a memory which inspires her to this day. She would witness her grandma using her long years of experience to help clients feel confident with their hair. Knowing that it was the result of this experience which made such a profound impact on clients, Izzy always takes the time to help educate her clients on how best to treat their hair. You will leave your appointment feeling not only confident but more knowledgeable. 

Izzy is the type of stylist if you love having voluminous hair, high energy conversations and relatable hair care education, information, and advice. Izzy’s technically skill set is growing into more creative lived in colors, she is gaining more experience and knowledge in blended, effortless blondes and trendy men’s cuts!
